Does GooglePages support FTP access?
No, unfortunately it does not. All you can do is a GPC upload.
What is the biggest file I can upload to GooglePages?
Most I was able to upload was 2MB but it was very slow. Total space is 100MB. Tip:Place your rich media files on other free services and link to them.
How can I place my Blog in my GooglePages?
You can place your Blog in your GooglePages using the upload technique. Here is my write up on this topic.
Monitor traffic to your web pages
You can place statcounter code in GPC. Here is my write up on this topic with screenshots and a how-to guide plus other alternatives such as Google Analytics and sitemeter.
Does GPC support scripting
GPC strips out scripting languages like PHP and so forth. It does support some Javascript. If you want full support, you'll need to save your page and upload it with the scriping inside it. GPC will strip out what it doesn't like so you can try this but it might be a bit frustrating. This is a design constraint of GPC. There are other free services that will allow FTP, PHP and Javascript. I have a list of them here.
Adding AdSense To Your GooglePages
Yes, it's easy. You need to setup an account with AdSense. I've included the sign-up link here below this text. Once you have an account, follow the Wizard to generate code which you can use to place code on your Website. After this, you'll need to think about the ad placements and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so the Search engines pick-up you page's content. See my full article.
Can I add more than one hundred files?
Presently, you cannot but I expect this limit to be lifted over time. Please be patient! You can always link to other free serices for your 'overflow' pages if 100 are not enough. Using the advanced setup tab, you can create four other Websites as well each of which currently also have the same limit, leaving you with f
